Facebook app for Carlsberg
We were contacted by Vatikanid ad agency and asked to program a facebook app for their client, Carlsberg in Iceland. That was basically a fun little question and answers game that had great questions and a memorable outcome.
We hooked up a small information console to the app that gave the clients a way to follow what was going on when users participated in the game. We collect how many liked the game, how many started playing and how many finished. We also collected information on the "drop off point", i.e. where users quit, what was the last question answered. When users finished the game we also collected information on how many actually shared the results on their wall.
Since this is a football related game and it's purpose is to find out what footballer you most resemble you could get results you didn't necessarily like. For example a die hard Liverpool fan could get the result that he most resembled Roy Keane and it goes without saying that this will never reach his wall. Most likely he will go through the game again to try to get more favorable results.
